Hi Jolly Daze AND ATV Parade planned
for Sat. Jan. 5, 2013
The 25th Annual Hi Jolly Daze and ATV Parade will be held on
Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 10am. The Town of Quartzsite is proud to be
honoring Quartzsite’s first ever Eagle Scout, Jeremy Kimberlin, who will serve
as this year’s Grand Marshall.
The theme for this year is “Mining in Quartzsite!” Enter
your float, walk, dance, play your music, ride your bike, drive your car, ATV,
RV, or walk the dog, but bring the whole family and your friends for a fun
time.
The parade will start at 10am. The parade starts at the Fire
Station on E. Tyson, heads east, then south on Plymouth ending up at Town Park where
there will be lots of food, music and fun for the whole family. Line up begins
at 8:30 am at the Fire Station. Please have all group members together at the
check-in.
The Hi Jolly Daze
Parade and activities afterwards at Town Park brings the residents, businesses,
organizations and our Winter Visitors together to celebrate our winter season
and pay tribute to Hi Jolly, the man who made our area his home for fifty
years.
